Curiosity is a strategic discipline.

Senior executive counsel and strategic leadership for organizations navigating growth, change, market entry and moments that matter.

Authentic works alongside CEOs, presidents and executive teams as a trusted advisor, strategic partner and fractional executive leader.

I bring the perspective of a former C-suite executive and a lifelong marketer to one simple starting point:

Understand people before trying to move them.

Some moments need a senior leader. Not all of them need a full-time one.

Strategic decisions. Leadership transitions. Growth initiatives. Market entry. Brand and marketplace shifts. Many of the moments that shape an organization don't fit neatly into a job description. They need an experienced executive who can step into the room, understand what's really happening, ask the right questions, lead when needed, and care about the outcome.

There can be a gap in leadership that calls for this kind of lift:

  • Advising a CEO, president, COO or leadership team through a consequential decision

  • Providing executive counsel and an experienced outside perspective

  • Stepping into fractional CEO, CMO, COO or other senior executive leadership

  • Shaping strategy or growth for the year ahead

  • Navigating leadership transitions, succession and organizational change

  • Entering a new market and building understanding, relevance and trust

  • Introducing or evolving a brand in a way that feels genuine and credible

  • Understanding customers, communities and stakeholders before deciding how to reach them

  • Building and strengthening high-performing teams and organizational culture

  • Leading strategic projects from insight through execution

Engagements range from focused strategic projects to 3–6 month embedded executive leadership. Sometimes called fractional or interim executive leadership.

Whatever shape fits, the goal is the same: understand what matters, create clarity and forward movement, and leave people in a better place than where they started.

Clear. Human. Real.

I work alongside CEOs, presidents and leadership teams to bring clarity, perspective and forward movement to the moments that matter.

This starts with understanding people. Your team. Your customers. Your community. Your stakeholders. The market you're entering. And the moment your organization is in.

I've spent my career as a marketer being curious about people: what they value, what motivates them, what has changed, what they believe and what we might be missing. Over time, that curiosity became more than a marketing principle.

It became a strategic discipline.

I want to understand before I prescribe. I question assumptions, listen for what's not being said and seek perspectives beyond the obvious. And I stay curious enough to change my mind when the people, circumstances or facts tell me I should.

From there, the work is about connecting insight to strategy and strategy to action, making sure what you say, what you do and how people experience it all line up.

Leadership is best when it's real. Clear, human and grounded in truth.

I also believe in having some fun in the work. Even when the work is critical. Especially when it is critical.

My goal is simple: leave people in a better place than when they brought me in. Stronger teams. Clearer strategy. More confidence in the room.

That's the whole point.
